New York Designer Brings Fashion to Frisco
New York Couture fashion designer Anthony Manfredonia swept into green peridot Aveda lifestyle salon at The Shops at Starwood on October 30-31 for his first Texas trunk show. Guests were surprised with a sneak peek from Manfredonia’s Fall 2010 line and were also treated to looks from his Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 collections. Manfredonia thanked Frisco and The Shops at Starwood for welcoming him to the South with open arms and looks forward to coming back in the future.

The Shops at Starwood Announces Ground Breaking for Phase II
The Shops at Starwood, the premier destination for dining, retail and luxury small office that just recently opened in Frisco Texas at the corner of Lebanon Road and the Dallas North Tollway, announced the ground breaking on Phase II of the center.
Phase II of The Shops at Starwood will add an additional 10,000 square feet of specialty retail and restaurant space to the existing 54,000 square feet mixed use center. Several unique and one of a kind shops are being consider as tenants at this time. Completion is planned for late March 2007.
“We are very excited about the expansion of The Shops at Starwood,” said Kirk Hermansen, President of Hermansen Land Development. “The success of our tenants already opened and Phase I leasing has prompted us to accelerate our plans for expansion. The new building will include additional distinctive and exclusive features currently not offered in Frisco.”
The Shops at Starwood includes over 50,000 square feet of retail and luxury office space, inspired by a classic Italian look that includes a promenade, alfresco dining, an eye catching fountain, and ornamental landscaping.
The Shops at Starwood, located on the Southwest Corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon in Frisco, is being developed by Hermansen Land Development, Inc. Learning Express Relocates to The Shops at Starwood
The Shops at Starwood, a mixed use development offering specialty retail and luxury small office located in Frisco, Texas, now open on the southwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road, announced today it has leased 1,714 square feet of retail space to Learning Express, the largest specialty toy retailer in the U.S.
Learning Express offers quality, unique and innovative products that encourage learning through play, including games and puzzles, books, and arts and crafts kits. Many items they carry are exclusive to Learning Express.
“We believe the specialty toys that Learning Express offers fit perfectly with the uniqueness of The Shops at Starwood,” said Kirk Hermansen, President of Hermansen Land Development. “We are very excited to have Learning Express relocate to The Shops at Starwood.”
