Thursday, October 8 was an evening of fashion, frugal decorating tips and Frisco Savvy at The Shops at Starwood. Women who visited Pappagallo's Classiques learned how to "Look Like A Million Bucks Without Spending" while checking out a trunk show of the latest fashions for fall.

Nancy Pierson of Panache at Home hosted a seminar on Decorating for Less that included lessons on faux wood finishing and other quick, expensive-looking ways to jazz up the home without breaking the bank. Frisco Savvy.

The newest online source for life, style and scene in Collin County, held a launch party at The Gent's Place that evening. TruFire Kitchen & Bar's Nola Tomlinson also created a signature cocktail for the special occasion. New York Couture Designer Arrives for Cocktails and Trunk Show October 30-31

Anthony Manfredonia is a luxury couture New York designer sharing his Spring and Fall 2010 collection with the women of Dallas during a trunk show at green peridot salon at The Shops at Starwood. Anthony's career has included Assistant to the Design Director of Donna Karan Womens' Collection, apprentice to notable fashion designer Tracy Reese and finally Head Designer for Isaac Mizrahi's Haute Couture Collection. Moving forward with his own luxury brand in New York City, Anthony has fine-tuned the art of adapting old-world techniques of garment construction and hand finishing into modern silhouettes. Anthony incorporates his Italian heritage with his American training to form the perfect marriage of European artistry and American sensibility. Along with Anthony will be his jewelry designer, Elena Kriegner.
